Rock Band coming to Wii June 22nd.
Miracles do happen for those who wait it seems. Kotaku reports that the bundle will come to the Wii on June 22nd and will retail for$170. No immediate plans for DLC for the Wii, however with Wiiware coming out to facilitate content downloads later this year, It’s not outside the realm of possibility that DLC will come eventually. And I gotta say, I like the color of the white drums. I know most people here at 2CG already have this for the 360, but I’ve always felt that diversity is best, so letting Wii owners in on the fun is a good thing, in my opinion.

Yeah, the drums do look good in white. Now I’m curious to see if they changed the guitar too.

The only thing I read for sure is that the guitar will be wireless. Beyond that, I imagine it possibly having a slot for the wiimote like the GH guitar.

Yeah, but what will it look like? I can see them reversing the white and black parts of the 360 and PS3 guitar though.

if you’re gonna try to compare my statement of the drums looking like ass (which…they still do…old man hairy mole ass) you could have at least picked a better ass to represent. that ass is a good, but not great ass. shoulda picked, like, vida guerra (cliche, i know..but damn!) or even kim kardashian…just lop off the face

Nice edit. And like I said, people like it, people don’t, people perfer white, people perfer black. what gets lost in this fact is that people forget that opinions are different, but I’m done arguing about people who have opinion deficiency, and rather to get back to the issue at hand. which is more ass.

I forgot the 360 was white. Then again, the Elite model is black :p Besides, this is Nintendo we’re talking about here. They probably require all Wii controllers and accessories to match the console.
Anyway, it’s Wii Rock Band, and Wii owners will get to rock out. That’s all that matters.
Though I’m still curious to see what the guitar will look like.
